One of the
biggest evenings of the year for the Central Oregon Writers Guild is coming
October 18.
The Literary
Harvest committee has worked hard. The judges have the submissions in hand.
We have successfully almost doubled the number
of submissions this year from last year. Paty Jager is organizing our
membership’ published authors with a book table at the event.
We need
members to help with the evening of the event. It will not take a long time, maybe no more than one hour per volunteer that evening.
We are a volunteer-fueled group and would like to include as many folks as possible. A number of
members wrote down on their membership forms they would like to help with special
events. Here’s a great opportunity to support fellow writers and your fellow
members.
There will
be a Harvest committee meeting on Monday Sept. 30 at the Barnes and Noble
coffee shop in Bend at 3:00. We would love to see you there. If your schedule is full at
