THURSDAY NOVEMBER 19 MEETING REMINDER:
Cowboy poet Larry Dudley will speak at COWG’S November 19, 2009 meeting. Dudley’s book A Cowboy’s Heart: Poetry & Stories reveals heartfelt experiences on his “journey called life”, which he describes as an often “bumpy road”. Born in Corvallis, Larry has lived most of his life in Oregon. He is now a truck driver and actively participates in Back Country Horsemen. His long-time dream of publishing his poetry has now become a reality, and he is happy to share his account of struggle and overcoming difficulties by reading his poems and stories of the cowboy life. To learn more about Larry, check out his website, http://www.cowboysheart.com/.
