Nationally Acclaimed Big Sur Children's/YA Workshop Nov. 30 - Dec. 2

The Henry Miller Memorial Library is a non-profit art space and co-sponsors the upcoming Big Sur Writing Workshop for children's picture books, early reader, middle grade and young adult fiction.

The Nov. 30-Dec 2nd workshop will be a truly a wonderful experience with world-class faculty, editors, agents, and publishers on hand. The workshop is co-sponsored by the esteemed Andrea Brown Literary Agency, who will be in attendance, providing helpful feedback and looking for new talent.
It's like writing boot camp - without the push-ups! (OK, there are some push-ups...) But calisthenics or not, one thing is certain: participants find the experience tremendously rewarding. Check out our incredible alumni testimonials, along with many instances where workshop participants received amazing publishing deals. To read about their successes, go to http://bigsurwriting.wordpress.com/testimonials. Go to http://bigsurwriting.wordpress.com for workshop details, and to submit your registration.
Deadline for registration is Friday Nov. 2nd, and if the past is any indication, it will sell out quickly, so early registration is encouraged.

Many thanks to Paty Jager for advising us of this intensive hands-on weekend workshop designed to ready Children’s and Young Adult authors’ manuscripts for publication.
