Deadline for the Central Oregon Writers Guild’s annual Literary Harvest Writing Contest is near: September 6, 2011. You may submit your entry at our August 25th meeting or mail it to:

The contest is open to Guild members and Central Oregon writers who reside in Deschutes, Jefferson and Crook counties. Genres include fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, humor, poetry and excerpts from stand-alone book chapters. Entry fee is $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Deadline for entries is September 6, 2011, and they are not accepted online. A panel of local judges will select ten winners, who will read their entries at the Literary Harvest on Friday, October 14, 2011.
